2013 Subaru BRZ

Make no mistake about it: the 2013 Subaru BRZ is one beautiful sport coupe. This new model comes to us from Subaru with plenty of help from Toyota, its automotive partner. The rear-wheel-drive BRZ features a BOXER engine and represents perhaps the most exciting affordable coupe we've seen since the Toyota Celica. Arriving this spring, the BRZ may forever change what you think about Subaru, one of the most successful small automakers in the world.

Subaru has outfitted it new 2+2 coupe with a 200-horsepower BOXER engine. That port-injected four cylinder engine is paired with a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission or an optional adaptive 6-speed automatic transmission with sport model and paddle shifters. Either way, you get a car that is fun to drive, one offering a limited-slip differential and a sport-tuned suspension with double wishbone rear architecture. Riding on a 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, the BRZ also comes equipped with HID headlights.

What is Karma?

Asides from what every skeptic of Fisker Automotive may have coming to them...

Karma, in the Fisker sense, is the luxury sports sedan that everyone has been talking about but nobody believed would make it since its debut in 2008. It seems as though the Karma fits into a class that doesn't, or shouldn't exist; well that may just be my opinion but the idea of a plug-in hybrid sports luxury sedan just does not seem like one that would work especially at a price over $100,000. Admittedly I too was, and may still be a skeptic of Fisker's Karma however asides from its odd blend of strange interior materials and styling cues, the Karma is undeniably a beautiful thing.

2013 Acura RDX

Acura has recently unveiled what they refer to as the "prototype" of the 2013 Acura RDX at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. However, many car experts and observers tend to disagree with the brand's statement that this particular vehicle is a prototype since it is obviously a redesigned version of the previous year's model. In fact, it is quite obvious that Acura has only implemented minor revisions on the previous year's model to come up with the current edition.

In addition to this, the observation provided by these car experts were quite true since the latest version of the RDX has some of the most significant features of its predecessor. Although there are a number of upgraded characteristics that was seen on the RDX, each of these clearly suggests that Acura was only able to iron out the some of the existing downsides that were seen on the previous year's model.

Chrysler has finally revealed some of the most significant features of its latest car model which is the 2013 Dodge Dart. This event has placed an end to all of the rumours and speculations that are trying to describe the vehicle's appearance, overall performance, and other related characteristics. In addition to this, Chrysler's revelation has somehow encouraged more buyers to consider the 2013 version of this car as one of their top vehicle options since the Dart has a lot of exciting characteristics to offer.

The revelation also marks the return of the Dart to the automobile market a few after almost three decades since its production was stopped in 1976. As the vehicle makes it comeback into the mainstream market, Chrysler might have prepared for this. In fact, this might be the most significant reasons why the car maker has released a number of teasers prior to the revelation that the model will be returning to production.

According to Chrysler, the 2013 model of Dart will go on sale probably this summer and this would be offered with three engine options. This includes the turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder Multiair, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Tigershark, and the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder Tigershark.

Review The 2012 Toyota Camry XLE V6

Toyota is considered as the largest car maker in the world in terms of volume. 2012 Kia Optima Review and Road Test

From a car company that not long ago was known for cheap, boring cars comes what many call the best looking midsize sedan. Since 2011 the Optima has come to represent the leaps forward the Korean auto makers are making. The styling is striking and the interior quality is also good. Then again at the Optima's new lofty price tag it has to be an impressive car. The styling of the car is sporty and aggressive. Kia makes good use of chrome to add some unique touches to the car. Our fully loaded SX turbo test car had special sport bumpers and wheels to improve the look even further. Apart from the cheesy grill it is difficult to find fault with anything on the outside of the Optima.

On the inside the Optima looks like you would expect any luxury car to. Nice dash, touch screen navigation, heated and cooled seats...but wait this is not a luxury car, this is a midsize sedan.

Do you remember the Cavalier? GM hopes you don't, but we all do. If you never owned one you probably knew someone who did. The Cavalier came to represent everything that was wrong at GM; uninspired handling, anemic power train and an interior that could have only been designed by an accountant. Well those days are gone. We hope forever. Enter the Chevrolet Cruze in 2011, everything you thought you knew about a small GM car was turned upside-down. Nice looks, great interior and sporty handling what wasn't there to like? As we look back on 2011 it looks as though GM finally got it right. For 2012 the Cruze remains largely unchanged. A few notable differences are the availability of a manual transmission with the 1.4L turbo and no more tilt adjustable front seats without the power option. In its first year the Cruze has done remarkably well, lets look how it stacks up in 2012.

Chrysler 200 Is the Most Affordable Mid-Size Sedan

Chrysler has put special incentives on the 2012 200 LX. Base models are selling for $16,495 CDN plus freight fees and taxes.

I recently had the opportunity to test drive this vehicle when I rented one for the day. I used the vehicle exclusively for city driving as I headed downtown for dinner and an evening out. I had hoped for the V6 as I had previously driven a Dodge Avenger with the V6 and absolutely loved the driving experience. The vehicle that was delivered to me was equipped with the 2.4L I-4 cylinder engine matched with the 4 speed automatic transmission, the base LX package. I was expecting a much softer ride in the 200 as the suspension is not as sporty as the Avenger, and I was also expecting a lot of lag and soft pickup as the 4 cylinder 2.4l 'World' engine is only 173 HP compared to the Best-In-Class Pentastar V6 283 HP power plant.
